    ANNEXATION OF AUGUST 29, 1950

    The corporate limits of the city are extended so as to embrace the territory described as follows: The SE ¼ of the SE ¼ in Section 7, Township 4 South, Range 11 West; and in Section 8, Township 4 South, Range 11 West; the NW ¼ of the SW ¼, and that part lying west of the present city limits of the City of Tuscumbia, Alabama, in the NE ¼ of the SW ¼, and the SW ¼ of the SW ¼ of said Section 8.

    The above lands embrace part of the following subdivisions: "Valdosta," "Valdosta, Addition One," "Resurvey of Lots 220, Valdosta Addition One" and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the NW corner of the SW ¼ of Section 8, Township 4 South, Range 11 West; thence south 3 degrees and 14 minutes, east 1318.56 feet to the NE corner of the SE ¼ of the SE ¼, Section 7, Township 4 South, Range 11 West; thence south 87 degrees and 21 minutes west 1307.5 feet to the NW corner of the SE ¼ of the SE ¼ of said Section 7; thence south 3 degrees and 14 minutes east 1318.56 feet to the SW corner of the SE ¼ of the SE ¼ of said Section 7; thence north 87 degrees and 21 minutes east 1307.5 feet to the SE corner of said Section 7; thence north 87 degrees and 21 minutes east 628.49 feet to the center line of Old Lee Highway, being also a point on the present city limits of the City of Tuscumbia, Alabama; thence north 29 degrees and 59 minutes east 1258.88 feet along the present city limit of the City of Tuscumbia, Alabama, to the east boundary of the SW ¼ of the SW ¼ of Section 8, Township 4 South, Range 11 West; thence north 3 degrees and 20 minutes west 258.33 feet to the NE corner of SW ¼ of the SW ¼ of said Section 8; thence north 87 degrees 21 minutes east 168.49 feet to the existing city limits being the center line of the Old Lee Highway; thence north 29 degrees 59 minutes east 1560.76 feet; thence south 87 degrees 27 minutes west 2341.35 feet to the point of beginning.

    ANNEXATION OF JULY 27, 1965

    The boundary lines and corporate limits of the City of Tuscumbia, in Colbert County, are hereby altered, rearranged and extended so as to include within the corporate limits of the City of Tuscumbia the following described territory situated in Colbert County: A tract or parcel of land contiguous to the westwardly boundary of the City of Tuscumbia, Colbert County, Alabama, lying and being in the NW ¼ of Section 17, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, more particularly described as beginning at a point on the present west boundary of said city where same intersects the north line of said Section 17; run thence west along the north line of said Section 17 to a point 100 feet eastwardly from the east right-of-way line of Frankfort Road; run thence southwestwardly parallel to said Frankfort Road and forming an interior angle of 107 degrees 22 minutes (south 17 degrees 2 minutes west) for a distance of 155 feet to a point; run thence east 50 feet to a point; run thence south 17 degrees 22 minutes west 768.18 feet to a point; run thence south 45 degrees 00 minutes east 627.85 feet to the south line of the N ½ of said NW ¼; run thence east 654 feet along the south line of the N ½ of said NW ¼ 654 feet to the north line of Tuscumbia By-Pass; run thence north 78 degrees 19 minutes east along the north line of said by-pass to the existing west boundary of said City of Tuscumbia; run thence northwardly along said present west boundary of said city to the point of beginning. Said property being all of Rolling Acres, a subdivision recorded in the office of the judge of probate of said Colbert County, Alabama, in map book 4, at page 122, which lies west of the present boundaries of the City of Tuscumbia.

    ANNEXATION OF AUGUST 21, 1973

    The corporate limits of the City of Tuscumbia, Alabama, are hereby extended and rearranged so as to embrace and include the following described property: The N.E. ¼ of the N.E. ¼ of Section 12, Township 4 South, Range 12 West, Colbert County, Alabama; and 38 separate parcels of land, particularly described on the map attached to the ordinance as Exhibit "A," said parcels constituting all of the S.E. ¼ of the S.E. ¼ of fractional Section 1, Township 4 South, Range 12 West, Colbert County, Alabama.

    ANNEXATION OF OCTOBER 9, 1973

    The corporate limits of the City of Tuscumbia, Alabama, are hereby extended and rearranged so as to embrace and include the following described property: A part of the SE ¼ of Section 10; part of the SW ¼ of Section 11; part of the NW ¼ of Section 14; and part of the NE ¼ of Section 15, all in Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in Colbert County, Alabama, more particularly described as follows: To find the point of beginning, commence at the SW corner of the SW ¼ of said SE ¼ of Section 10 on the present corporate limit line of Tuscumbia, Alabama, and run north along the west line of said SE ¼ along present corporate limits for 577.5 feet to the point of beginning, said point being also the SW corner of the Fred O. Kimbrough and wife, Hassie McCaig Kimbrough Tract (see book 327, page 406, probate records of Colbert County, Alabama); continue thence north along present corporate limits for 817.5 feet; run thence S 78° 15' E for 1342 feet; run thence S 1° 00' W for 215 feet; run thence S 77° 00' E for 203 feet to the west line of the Cecil F. Edwards Tract (see book 142, page 568 in above cited records); run thence north along the west line of said Edwards tract for 1805 feet, more or less, to the present corporate limit line of the City of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and to the north line of the SE ¼ of said Section 10; run thence east along the said corporate limit line of Muscle Shoals and half-section line for 270 feet, more or less to the south line of the Old Southern Railroad bed; run thence S 77° 25' E along said railroad bed for 910 feet, more or less, to the east line of Section 10; continue thence S 77° 25' E for 202.9 feet to the NE corner of said Edwards Tract; run thence S 0° 03' E for 780 feet, more or less, to the NW corner of the Johnnie M.     ANNEXATION OF FEBRUARY 26, 1974

    The corporate limits of the City of Tuscumbia, Alabama, are hereby extended and rearranged so as to embrace and include the following described property: All of the NW ¼ of the NE ¼ of Section 12, Township 4 South, Range 12 West, Colbert County, Alabama.

    ANNEXATION OF MAY 14, 1974

    The corporate limits of the City of Tuscumbia, Alabama, are hereby extended and rearranged so as to embrace and include the following described property: A part of the SE ¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 12, Township 4 South, Range 12 West, Colbert County, Alabama, more particularly described as follows: Begin at the NW corner of said SE ¼ of said NW ¼ and run south along the west line of said forty for 990 feet, more or less, to the NW corner of the Willingham Tract; run thence eastwardly along the north line of the Willingham tract for 1320 feet, more or less, to the east line of said SE ¼ of said NW ¼; run thence northwardly along the east line of said SE ¼ of said NW ¼ for 990 feet, more or less, to the NE corner of said SE ¼ of said NW ¼ and to a point on the present corporate limits of Tuscumbia, Alabama; run thence west along the north line of said SE ¼ of said NW ¼ for 1320 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.

    ANNEXATION OF OCTOBER 1, 1974

    The corporate limits of the City of Tuscumbia, Alabama, they are hereby extended and rearranged so as to embrace and include the following described property: Beginning at the NE corner of SW ¼ of NW ¼ of Section 12, Township 4 South, Range 12 West, Colbert County, Alabama; thence west 440 feet to a point; thence south 553 feet to a point; thence east 440 feet to a point; thence north 553 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 6 acres, more or less, and being a part of the SW ¼ of NW ¼ of Section 12, Township 4 South, Range 12 West, Colbert County, Alabama.

    ANNEXATION OF AUGUST 18, 1987

    The boundary lines of the City of Tuscumbia, Alabama, be, and the same are hereby altered or rearranged so as to include all of the territory heretofore encompassed by the corporate limits of the City of Tuscumbia, and in addition thereto the following described territory, to-wit: A parcel of land situated in the W ½ of the SE ¼ of Section 10, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, Colbert County, Alabama, being more particularly described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at a point on the north and south half-section line of said Section 10, 100 feet south of the middle of the old abandoned Memphis and Charleston (now Southern) Railroad right-of-way; thence run south a distance of 1458.6 feet to a stake; thence run south 76 degrees 50 minutes east a distance of 1164.10 feet to a stake; thence run north a distance of 1458.6 feet to a stake; thence run north 76 degrees 50 minutes west a distance of 1164.10 feet to the point of beginning, containing 39 acres, more or less. Said property also being known as Lots 1, 2, 3, 6, 7 and 8 of the partition of the Henry Hobbs estate, as shown by Probate Court proceedings recorded in said office in Deed Book "P", Page 176, et seq.

    LESS AND EXCEPT, THEREFROM, all that portion of the above described property which lies in the NE ¼ of said Section 10.

    A portion of the West ½ of the NW ¼ of Section 14, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, more particularly described as follows: Commence at the NW corner of the NW ¼ of said Section 14, Township 4 South, Range 11 West; thence north a distance of 121.46 feet to a point; thence east a distance of 275.68 feet to a point; thence south 0 degrees 03 minutes east a distance of 1270.52 feet to the point of beginning of the tract hereby described; thence run east 100 feet to a point; thence at right angles run south 121.47 feet to a point on the north right-of-way line of U.S. Highway No. 20, thence along the north right-of-way line of U.S. Highway No. 20; north 62 degrees 51 minutes west a distance of 111.87 feet to a point; thence run north 84 feet to the point of beginning.

    Commence at the SW corner of Section 11, Township 4 South, Range 11 west, Colbert County, Alabama; thence north 87 degrees and 30 minutes east along the south boundary of said Section 11, 851.5 feet to a point on the eastern boundary of U.S. Highway No. 43 (Woodward Avenue); thence northwardly along the east boundary of said highway 1540 feet to the point of beginning of the tract of land hereby described; thence south 76 degrees east, 401.6 feet to a point; thence north 3 degrees and 30 minutes west, 433.4 feet to a point in the center of the Old Railroad right-of-way; thence north 76 degrees West 402.9 feet, more or less to a point on the eastern boundary of said highway; thence southwardly along the eastern boundary of said highway 433.4 feet to the point of beginning, containing 4 acres, more or less.

    A tract of land in the W ½ of the SW ¼ of Section 11, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in Colbert County, Alabama, more particularly described as follows: Commence at the SW corner of said Section 11; thence run north along the west line of said Section 11 a distance of 121.46 feet to a point; thence run east a distance of 275.68 feet to a point; thence run north 0 degrees 03 minutes west a distance of 965.54 feet to a point on the north line of Madison Street (as it appears on the recorded plat of Norris Park Subdivision in Map Book 3, Page 114, in the office of the Judge of Probate of Colbert County, Alabama); thence run east along the north line of said Madison Street and its extension a distance of 559.29 feet to a point on the east right-of-way line of U.S. Highway No. 43 (Woodward Avenue) which point is the point of beginning of the tract hereby described; thence from said point of beginning, run northerly along the east right-of-way line of said U.S. Highway 43 (Woodward Avenue) a distance of 640 feet, more or less, to the SW corner of the Melvin Ballew tract which point is also 433.4 feet south of the center of the old abandoned railroad right-of-way; thence run south 76 degrees east 401.6 feet to a point; thence run south 3 degrees 30 minutes east 520 feet, more or less, to a point on the north line of said Madison Street; thence run West along the north line of said Madison Street, a distance of 367.34 feet to the point of beginning, containing 5.10 acres, more or less.     The boundary lines of the City of Tuscumbia, Alabama, be, and the same are hereby altered or rearranged so as to include all of the territory heretofore encompassed by the corporate limits of the City of Tuscumbia, and in addition thereto the following described territory, to-wit:

    TRACT 1A

    A parcel of land situated in the West ½ of the Southeast ¼ of Section 10, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, Colbert County, Alabama, being more particularly described as follows, to-wit:

    Beginning at a point on the north and south half-section line of said Section 10, 100 feet south of the middle of the old abandoned Memphis and Charleston (now Southern) Railroad right-of-way; thence run south a distance of 1458.6 feet to a stake; thence run south 76 degrees 50 minutes east a distance of 1164.10 feet to a stake; thence run north a distance of 1458.6 feet to a stake; thence run north 76 degrees 50 minutes west a distance of 1164.10 feet to the point of beginning, containing 39 acres, more or less. Said property also being known as Lots 1, 2, 3, 6, 7 and 8 of the partition of the Henry Hobbs estate, as shown by Probate Court proceedings recorded in said office in Deed Book "P", Page 176, et seq.

    Less and except, therefrom, all that portion of the above described property which lies in the northeast ¼ of said Section 10; and all that portion of the above described property which lies north and east of a line beginning at the intersection of the north and south half-section line of said Section 10 and the Muscle Shoals City Corporate Limits, bisecting the angle between said Muscle Shoals City Corporate Limits and said North and South half-section line, and running in a southeasterly direction.

    TRACT 2A

    Lots numbered 4 and 5 according to a certain plat or map, showing the partition of certain lands of Henry Hobbs deceased, being carved out of a 52 acre tract of land in the W. ½ of the S.E. ¼ of Section 10, Township 4, south, Range 11 west, as shown in Deed Record "P" page 176 et seq. and a plat and map thereof being recorded in Deed Record "P" page 186, in the office of the Probate Judge of Colbert County, Alabama.

    Section 1. The City Council of the City of Tuscumbia, Alabama, finds and declares as the legislative body of the City that it is in the best interest of the citizens of the City, and the citizens of the affected area, to bring the territory described in Section 2 of this Ordinance into the City of Tuscumbia.

    Section 2. The boundary lines of the City of Tuscumbia, Alabama, be, and the same are hereby altered or rearranged so as to include all of the territory heretofore encompassed by the corporate limits of the City of Tuscumbia, and in addition thereto the following described territory, to-wit:

    TRACT 1A

    A tract or parcel of land lying and being in the N ½ of the NE ¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 21, T-4-S, R-11-W, in Colbert County, Alabama, to-wit:

    Commence at the NW corner of the NW ¼ of said Section 21, thence S 5 degrees 18' E along the W line of said Section 21 a distance of 660' to an iron pin, the true point of beginning of the tract herein described, thence continue S 5 degrees 18' E along the W line of said Section 21 a distance of 819.8' to an iron pin, thence N 86 degrees 39' 22" E a distance of 1308.03' to the NE corner of the Jerry Lewis tract as described in Book 8807, Page 9, in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Colbert County, Alabama, being on the W line of a 60' easement, thence N 5 degrees 18' W along the W line of said 60' easement 819.8' more or less to the S line of the N ½ of the NW ¼ of the NW ¼ of said Section 21, thence W with said S line to the point of beginning.

    All of the NW ¼ of Section 21, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in Colbert County, Alabama, lying South of "Henderson Point Road" (being all of said NW ¼ lying between the South right of way boundary of said Henderson Point Road and the South boundary of said NW ¼), containing 9 acres, more or less.

    And also, the West ½ of the SW ¼ of the SW ¼ of Section 21, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in Colbert County, Alabama, containing 20 acres, more or less.
