§ 3. Qualification of members of the board.

No person shall be eligible to membership on said board who is not a qualified elector of the City of Tuscumbia, Alabama, or who is an officer of the city, or an employee thereof, or is a member of the city council, or whose term on the city council has expired within six (6) months prior to his election on the board.
