§ 10-6. Same—Sewer rates where water not received from city.

  • In the case that any dwelling or place of business or any other establishment discharges into the sanitary sewer system water obtained from any source other than the water distribution system of the city, the city will install a meter at the expense of the occupant for the purpose of measuring the quantity of water used at any such location. The quantity of water so measured shall be used as the basis of calculating a charge of [for] such discharge is [hereby] fixed and established as follows: For each one thousand (1,000) gallons per month, one dollar and eighty-one cents ($1.81) per one thousand (1,000) gallons, except as otherwise agreed by written contract.
