§ 12-39. Merchandising, advertising, and signs.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person in the park:

    (1)

    Vending and peddling: To expose or offer for sale any article or thing, or to station or place any stand, cart, or vehicle, for the transportation, sale, or display of such article or thing offered for sale. Provided, that this section shall not apply to a regularly licensed concessionaire, acting by and under the authority of a permit for such activity.

    (2)

    Advertising: To announce, advertise, or call to the public attention in any way, any article or service for sale or hire, or to engage in political advertising by posted sign or loud speaker, except under duly authorized permit for such activity.

    (3)

    Signs: To paste, glue, tack, or otherwise post, any sign, placard, advertisement, or inscription whatever, or to erect or cause to be erected, any sign whatever, on any public lands or highways or roads adjacent to a park.
