§ 5-2. Business in police jurisdiction—Levy of tax; purpose.

Any person engaged in any business outside the city, but within the police jurisdiction thereof, shall pay one-half of the amount of license imposed for like business within the city. It is the purpose of this section to license such business for police and fire protection only, and not for revenue.
